Image tools

Convert images and remove image information.

About these tools

Each tool runs in your browser: images are processed on your device and never uploaded to an outside server.

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which some apps and websites cannot open. HEIC to JPG converts them, many at once, into JPG files that open everywhere.

AVIF is a newer format that makes photos and images smaller at a similar quality. Convert to AVIF to save space, or from AVIF when an app cannot open it.

Photos also contain EXIF information: the date, the camera and sometimes GPS location data.

Remove EXIF deletes this information without lowering the image quality.

Frequently asked questions

Which format should I choose?

Choose JPG when the image has to open everywhere, PNG when you need transparency or exact pixels (screenshots, graphics), and AVIF when you want the smallest file and it will be opened in a recent browser or app.

Do the converters change the size of my images?

No. Every converter keeps the image's size in pixels. Only the format changes, and with it the file size.

Is the location removed when I convert a photo?

HEIC to JPG keeps the date and camera but removes the location by default, and you can change that. The other converters do not carry photo information over at all. To remove it without converting the photo, use Remove EXIF.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser reads and converts the images on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server.
