About Widewell Tools

Widewell Tools is a collection of free tools for everyday files: converting iPhone photos, removing hidden photo and PDF information, and more. Every tool runs in your web browser, so your files are never uploaded.

How the tools work

When you add a file, your own device reads and processes it inside the browser tab. Nothing is sent to our server, and the result is made on your device too. Some formats need a specialised decoder or encoder, which the page downloads the first time you use it. These are open-source software, listed on Open-source licenses.

How the site is paid for

The tools are free to use, with no account and no limit on the number of files. Ads pay for the site; they are placed away from the tools' buttons. To see which tools are used, the site counts each finished run without your file, its name or anything that identifies you. The Privacy policy has the details.
