Frequently asked questions

Does rotating lower the quality?

No. Only each page’s rotation setting changes: the text, images and drawings on the page are not redrawn or compressed again, so the pages stay exactly as sharp as before.

Is anything else in the PDF changed?

No. Bookmarks, links, form fields and the document’s title and author stay as they are. Only the pages you turned are different.

Can I rotate confidential documents?

Yes. Your browser reads the PDF and saves the rotated copy on your device. Neither file is uploaded, so contracts, invoices and other confidential documents stay on your device.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. PDFs with a password are not supported, including those that only restrict printing or copying: rewriting them would remove the protection. Remove the password in your PDF app first, then rotate that copy.

Are my files uploaded to an outside server?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device. The page only downloads the tool's own code when you add the first file.
