Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes, until you create the PDF: click the page again, or press “Undo changes”. Your original file is never changed, so if you deleted the wrong page you can always start again from it.

Is a deleted page really gone from the file?

Yes. Its text, images and links, the form fields that were only on it and the bookmarks that opened it are removed from the file, not just hidden. The other pages keep their bookmarks, links and form fields, and the document keeps its title and author.

Can I delete pages from confidential documents?

Yes. Your browser reads the PDF and writes the new one on your device. Neither file is uploaded, so contracts, invoices and other confidential documents stay on your device.

Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

No. PDFs with a password are not supported, including those that only restrict printing or copying: rewriting them would remove the protection. Remove the password in your PDF app first, then use that copy.

Are my files uploaded to an outside server?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device. The page only downloads the tool's own code when you add the first file.
